Timothy O'Brien

Tim is performing 40Ar/39Ar and (U-Th)/He measurements to constrain the tectonic evolution of the southern Brooks Range in Northern Alaska.  He is also developing methodology to measure contrasting Ar and Ne diffusion properties in mica and relate this to dehydroxylation kinetics.
