Ziva Shulaker

Ziva is undertaking ⁴⁰Ar/³⁹Ar and (U-Th)/He measurements to better understand the exhumation history of the mid-Cretaceous batholith in the southern Sierra Nevada and northwestern Mojave Desert.  This includes a detailed study of the Rand detachment fault and basement/detrital thermochronology of Eocene-Miocene sediments preserved in the San Emigdio Mountains.
